Tea...anyone?

My mom is the greatest! Although she still struggles with the past health problems, she still is planning "events" for everyone to enjoy. Valentines Day was no exception. She planned the cutest little girl Valentine tea party. We made necklaces, valentines, the little girls had their fingernails painted, and of course there was delicious food. The Smith and Simonsen girls (my neighbors growing up) came with their little girls as well as other special girls and ladies in our lives. It was fun to be together and play "tea party." Every time Kathryn talks to Grandma she asks if she can have another tea party. So, when is the next one?

I LOVE LOVE this picture of Kathryn and I. We are shaped in a heart! I love my "little sister!"
Meggan and Mandy grew up next door to me. We spent a lot of our childhood having tea parties. Often with mud pies. There are like sisters to me!
The little girl guests.

Party Planner - extraordinaire.

What a sweet girl!

My girls had so much fun! It was such a cute little bonding time for us! And, your mom told me Thursday night that another tea party was in the works...?
