This past weekend we packed up and headed to Bear Lake with the Coombs' family. It was quite daring to take three kids camping in a tent, but it turned out great. Here are a few reasons why we had a great time.
- NEW blow-up, 18 inch, queen-size mattress. My bum didn't touch the ground once! And even with Kimball and Kathryn sharing the bed we had plenty of room!
- Bear Lake raspberry shakes from "Le Beaus"
- Time to finish my book (The Other Boleyn Girl)
- Yummy food, even though we're suppose to be on a diet!
- Bucket + Sand + Water = Hours of entertainment for Kathryn.
- Grandpa Gene and his white cover-alls, orange flip-flops, and yellow hat! So Cute!
- Uncle Richie and Carter doing chest bumps.
- Carter, Austin, and Emma having running races at the camp ground, except when Carter was nursing his scraped heel and insisted on being carried everywhere.
- Kimball swaddled in the blanket and asleep in the port-a-crib
- Canoeing, kayaking, volleyball, and frisbee
- Napping in the car after a day at the beach
- No significant sun-burns! We learned our lesson last year! Poor Josh and Kim weren't so lucky!
- Spending time with the family!
